John A. Braden, CPA/PFS
A native Houstonian, John earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Houston in 1967 whre he also attended both law school and graduate school. After spending four years with a "Big Eight" CPA firm, John joined a local firm in 1971. Shortly thereafter, he took over the practice following the death of his partner and has practiced the full range of public accounting since then. He is active in professional associations, serving as an officer and committee chair, and is active in his community and church.
 
Suzanne Barnett-Villarreal, CPA
Suzanne is a native Houstonian who earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Sam Houston State University in 1991. Her past job experience includes positions in both industry and public accounting. Positions she has held range from staff accountant to controller and bookkeeper to audit manager. She has experience in a wide variety of industries including securities broker/dealers, software development, manufacturing, construction, real estate, and not-for-profits. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of CPAs, Houston Chapter of the TSCPAs, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She is active in her community where she volunteers her time to several not-for-profit boards and her church.
 
Kimberly D. Scott
Kimberly is a native Texan and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1993. She joined the firm in 2000 after five years' experience functioning in the role of Tax Manager with another CPA firm. Kimberly is a member of the Spring Old Town Lions Club and the Conroe Symphony Orchestra and has served as Treasurer for both these organizations.
 
Meredith M. Watmough
In 1991, Meredith joined the firm working in both administrative and support roles. She graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts. In 2000, Meredith earned her Master’s Degree from Texas Woman’s University. She successfully completed her Series 6 licensing in 2008. Meredith is currently the Financial Planning assistant in addition to her role as Office Manager.
 
Nancy J. Roberts
Nancy began working for the firm in 1994. Originally from Seattle, she worked for UPS in the Accounting Dept. In 1987 she and her family moved to Texas. She has recently returned to our staff working with clients in the bookkeeping services practice area. Nancy is also responsible for some firm administrative matters.
