I have known many of you since the inception of my practice more than 40 years ago. My firm's growth has been strong and steady, stemming from your confidence in my abilities and referrals from our clients, colleagues and those of other professionals.
After careful consideration and diligent research, I decided to move forward with this merger because I believe it allows me to provide a wider array of services with a greater depth of resources. MJ shares my values, work ethic and commitment to quality accounting, audit and tax services.
Again, having taken a prudent and responsible approach in selecting McConnell & Jones LLP for this transaction, I am confident that you, my clients, colleagues and friends, will greatly benefit from this positive event. Rest assured, we will continue to deliver the same level of services and advice you've been accustomed to, only enhanced with additional team members and resources from MJ.
Although this is a big announcement, there are several things that will not change:
• You will continue to work with the same people in our firm you have in the past. Kimberly, Nancy and Meredith are being retained in their current roles, and I will be taking on the title of Partner with McConnell & Jones LLP.
• Our fee structure will not change.
• The services we have provided you in the past will continue to be offered.
Trust and commitment is what we stand on and I personally promise that you will not be disappointed as you transition to the combined firm. We will continue to operate from our current offices through the near future. All the contact information for us will remain the same for now. Over the coming weeks, you can expect further communication from me and the MJ team with updated email and website addresses.
